6 Month Checkup

I just can't believe we're half way to Emily's 1st birthday, it doesn't seem possible. We saw Dr. Denton on Thursday and of course we had to get those horrible shots!! Steve wasn't able to be there, so I had to tough it out on my own. I just didn't watch them stick her and picked her up when they told me I could. I think I did really good!! :) Oh, and Emily did good too. Ha ha! Here are her stats:

16 lbs 15 ozs (75th percentile)
26 1/2 in (90th percentile)
head was 75th percentile too

I was a little worried and surprise (she has major rolls) because she had only gained a little over a pound in 2 months. But, the doc said there was absolutely nothing to worry about and that she was just growing so much in length and she's right where she needs to be.


Her new things are:
She tries to get out of her carseat by almost doing a back bend
She army crawls if we put a toy out in front of her
Loves to splash in the bathtub
Doesn't like to have things taken away from her
Is really entertained by her activity center
She is on stage 2 foods and has liked everything so far

She still smiles and laughs ALL the time. She sleeps from 7 to 7 and has only got up once in the middle of the night since she was about 5 or 6 weeks old. It's awesome!
