Christmas Eve At GiGi's

We went to Grandma's (Em will call her GiGi, for Great Grandma) house for Christmas Eve this year. We had a lot of fun. Grandma gave me the wrong gift for Emily (it was some lacy underwear that were suppose to be for Sarah) and Grandma told us a few things she wanted to do before she died. We laughed so hard!

For My Dad...

This is for my Dad. He lives out of town and hasn't seen Emily since she was a month old. It's killing him not being able to see her. I can't believe how much has changed in almost 3 months. She "talks" and laughs a lot. She's such a happy baby, but of course I bring out the camera and she just sits there. This is the best I could do.

Sleeping Beauty

This week has been a big week in the life of Emily. On Monday night I decided it was time! I put Emily in her room and of course, she did great and slept all through the night. Mommy, on the other hand didn't sleep so well. I don't think I went to sleep at all that night. I was just listening to the monitor waiting for her to make a peep! The rest of the week was great though. I got some of the best sleep of my life (that's what it felt like, anyway).
We went out to eat with our friends Joe and Emily on Wednesday night. Here are some pictures from that night. SOOOOO cute I tell you!!

Too Cute!

I just love this outfit and had to share the pictures. She's so lucky...she got her dad's complexion and it looks like she has a tan in these pictures. Also, as you can tell she has found her hands and is in love with them (especially that thumb...see next post). When the camera flash gets to her she does the wide eye look.

3 Months Old

Emily was 3 months old on Monday. She is really trying to sit up these days. She does "crunches" all of the time, lifting her feet and head off the ground. Too bad exercise doesn't work by osmosis. I decided to put her in her Bumbo. She did fine for about 10 minutes and then I think she got tired.

Gas Mask Anyone?

Since we've been giving Emily 1 formula bottle a day she has had the most disgusting smelling diapers. I was changing her tonight and Steve came in like this. He put on his SWAT gas mask and said I'm here to change the diaper. Emily thought he was pretty funny looking!

Pictures with Santa

Emily did great with Santa as I thought she would. She's never met a stranger and will go to anyone. We had a few little malfunctions with her outfit though. Her shoes were a little too big, so I put cotton balls in the ends of them. I had a bib on her the whole way there just in case she spit up. As I took it off when I sat her on Santa's lap she spit up all over her dress and Santa. Of course!
